The APC chairmanship candidate for Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, officially launched his campaign for the February 22, 2025, local government elections, pledging to deliver selfless and quality governance to the people of Apomu and Ikoyi.

Addressing a massive crowd of supporters, Hon. Odetunde assured the residents of his commitment to inclusive and transparent leadership. He promised equitable development and the delivery of 21st-century governance that ensures every citizen benefits from the dividends of democracy. "Together, we will build a thriving Isokan Local Government that works for all," he declared.

Prominent APC leaders, including Chief Tajudeen Sooko, the Osun State APC Chairman, and Hon. Sunday Akere, were present at the event. They commended the loyalty and dedication of party members, urging them to intensify their efforts to ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.

The event also witnessed the official decamping of notable PDP members led by Mr Nureni Gbajumo from Apomu and Hon 13:13 from Ikoyi to the APC, with the decampees citing PDP's poor governance and anti-people policies as reasons for their defection. They pledged their loyalty to the APC and assured their commitment to the party's success in the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Goke Odetunde also used the occasion to empower with cash 150 widows, less privileged individuals, and people with disabilities, demonstrating his dedication to community development and welfare.

In his closing remarks, the Isokan Local Party Chairman expressed gratitude to the state executive, APC members in the local government, and well-wishers for their impressive turnout and unwavering support for Hon. Odetunde and Hon Adex his running mate. He emphasized that with their collective commitment and determination, the APC is poised for victory in the February 22, 2025, local government election.
