Just on Saturday 23rd of October 2021, Hon. Goke Micheal Ajao Odetunde a grassroots politician who has his seat in the coal city of Apomu in Isokan Local Government of Osun State honoured the invitation of National Representative Council(NRC) of National Association of Osun State Students(NAOSS) 2021 regime led by Rt. Hon. Rabiu Ridwan (RADO) as the chairman panelist for the legislative summit tagged "The role of parliamentarians in conflict resolution and peace building" at Osun state house of Assembly hall Abere, Osogbo.
Hon. Goke Odetunde after justifying the topic with the current problems facing Nigeria as a nation with other panelists was given the meritorious award of honour for his outstanding contributions to students unionism.

Goke Odetunde towards the success of the program, more so, he described him as a philanthropist, a father, mentor, progressive-minded individual, lover of students and an associate of the youthful population at large due to his intuition that the development and growth of any country rest on the shoulder of her youth.
Hon. Odetunde was accompanied by Hon. Mutairu Olodu, one of the awardees, Hon. Adetunji(Chairman Goke Support Forum) as well as the media crew.
In his speech, Goke Odetunde charged the youth to rise to their feet so that they can be actively involved in politics to be the change they deserve to their country Nigeria.
