GOKE ODETUNDE 2022 FREE UTME SCHOLARSHIP
Education is the only instrument with which the entire universe can be transformed for better. This is the belief of Hon. Goke Micheal Odetunde, a grassroots politician cum philanthropist in the coal city of Apomu in Isokan Local Government of Osun State about educating the younger ones so that the youths can be actively involved in the decision making process of the nation and the entire world in the nearest future.
It was this impression that prompted Hon. Goke Odetunde of his usual act by touching the lives of less privileged ones in the society through sponsoring a free UTME scholarship for students aiming to proceed to higher institution of learning so that they can have access to tertiary institution education in Nigeria.
During his speech, Hon. Goke clarified the people that have deemed it fit to sponsor sixty(60) UTME for 60 students within Irewole and Isokan State constituency comprising students from Ikire, Apomu, and Ikoyi who are academically inclined but cannot afford to obtain the examination on their own. More so, he said he introduced the system in order to ease the sufferings of some students as well as parents due to the current economic status of the country.
He now promised the students who might be interested in the free UTME scholarship not to panic about being considered as the exam will be written in a conducive area with an open door policy without the feeling of being partial or unjust with the result of the examination but rather applicants are to be selected based on their academic performances.
This examination will in no way give room for nepotism, favouritism, sectionalism or political affiliation and religious sentiment as students should do away with the notion that the organizers will politicize the examination"- Goke Odetunde laments.
To this end, parents, guardians, and students can pick up the form at True Solution Computer Institute, opposite Bintinlaye food canteen Apomu as registration closes on Friday 4th of February, 2022 and the examination is holding on Sunday 6th of February, 2022 respectively.
