OSUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION
GOKE ODETUNDE DEFEATS THE INCUBENT CHAIRMAN AND OTHER ASPIRANTS TO CLINCH APC TICKET.
Today, 17th September 2022, Hon Goke Odetunde a member of the All progressive congress in Isokan local government defeated with wide margin the incumbent caretaker chairman of the local government Mr. Akinremi Maroof and Hon. Akeem Oladeni Badiru former chairman Isokan local government and Special Adviser to the Governor of OSUN state on SUBEB matters, in the contest to clinch the party's ticket ahead of the local government election slated for October 15,2022.
It was reported that Hon Goke won 3 wards from the six ward that makes Isokan local government while two of the wards were cancelled because of irregularities.
The winner of the election was reported to have secured a total votes of 2192 against the runner up Hon. Akeem Oladeni Badiru who secured a total vote of 505 and Mr Akinremi Maroof who had a total vote of 138 to clinch the third position and the analysis of the election is stated below :

While waiting for the announcement from the state party , people have express their satisfaction with the results of the election confirming this election to be the first election that the people of Apomu will speak with one voice.
The members of the party warned the leaders not to tanper with the result of the election.
