Earlier on Tuesday 1st of November, 2022, one of the beneficiaries of The Goke Odetunde 2020 Youth empowerment has come back to express her gratitude to the donor for the kind gesture bestowed on her and every other beneficiaries of the life-transforming empowerment.
Mrs Nafisat Badiru, the CEO Delight cakes and decorations was one of the beneficiaries of the empowerment program organized by the federation of Apomu Students FAPS in 2022 and fully sponsored by Q/SV Goke Odetunde who is now the chairman of Isokan local government described the gesture received from the philanthropic life-transforming empowerment as she is now The Chief Executive Officer of a reputable baking industry the dream which may not have been possible if not for God through Hon. Goke Odetunde has now turn a reality.
These remarks were made today at the secretariat of Isokan local government where Mrs Nafisat presented gifts of various kinds to Hon. Goke Odetunde to express her gratitude.
It would be recalled that immediately after the world was ravaged by Covid 19 Virus, the leadership of FAPS under Com Badiru Tope approached many people for sponsorship of this empowerment but only Q/SV Goke Odetunde was willingly ready to sponsor such empowerment that sees to enrolling of about 20 youths into various vocational skills and provides every necessary material they may all need in their endeavours.
While addressing the people, His Excellency Hon. Goke Odetunde appreciates the beneficiary for not being an integrate and equally made it known in the presence of some council career bosses that this appreciation is an invitation to do more and on the spot, he promised that the apprentices who comes with the beneficiary shall receive the same gesture in due time.
In attendance were the council manager, Mr Kunle council Admin, Com Habbey lee, Com Option and a host of others.
