The Goke Support Forum (GSF) held its general meeting yesterday at the country home of its principal, Hon. Goke Odetunde, the Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Apomu.

The well-attended gathering witnessed the massive turnout of APC leaders, stakeholders, and members loyal to Hon. Goke Odetunde, both within and outside Isokan Local Government. The enthusiastic attendance reaffirmed the growing confidence in Hon. Goke's leadership and his commitment to grassroots development.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman of GSF, Hon. Lateef Adetunji, warmly welcomed all present and appreciated their continued dedication to the forum's shared vision. He noted that the meeting served as an opportunity to update members on recent developments within the party and government at the local level.

The APC Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Mr Bashir Osunlakin charged members to remain loyal to the party's progressive ideals, emphasizing the importance of unity ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election. He encouraged members to actively prepare for the political tasks ahead.

Prominent leaders who addressed the gathering included Hon. Kunle Akindunbi (former Caretaker Chairman of Isokan LG), Hon. Niyi Oyebola, Hon. Toyin Ajagbe, Hon. Waheed Ogunfiolu Adex, and others. In their individual remarks, they urged members to remain focused, determined, and steadfast in the collective mission to reclaim Osun from mediocrity.

In his address, the President of Goke Support Forum and the Chairman of Isokan local government Hon. Goke Odetunde expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support he and his team have received so far from his supporters. He reaffirmed his role as a servant-leader and pledged to continue prioritizing the needs of his people. He echoed the call for unity, stressing that political aspirations should not cause divisions within the party. He reminded members to identify clearly with the aspirants they support, while maintaining loyalty and respect for others.

Welcoming the new defectors from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Goke assured them of fair treatment and an equal share in the dividends of democracy. He urged them to align with the values and discipline of the progressive fold.

As the meeting concluded, several members took turns to appreciate the leadership of GSF and the outstanding qualities of Hon. Goke Odetunde. They prayed for continued success and reaffirmed their commitment to the party's growth and unity.
