GSF WELCOMES AKAD FOUNDATION CHAIRMAN INTO APC.

*Mr. Akinwale Aliyu Adeniyi Joins APC, shared gifts for Young girls and Women Across Isokan LGA*

In a heartwarming development earlier yesterday,13th June,2025.   The Chairman of the AKAD Foundation, Mr. Akinwale Aliyu Adeniyi, was formally welcomed into the fold of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isokan Local Government Chapter.

The London-based philanthropist, a native of Apomu, was received by the local party chairman, Mr. Basiru Osunlakin among other Party leaders, who described Mr. Akinwale as a patriotic son of Apomu with a consistent record of community development and humanitarian service. He emphasized that Mr. Akinwale's return home and involvement in politics is a step towards progress, noting that he brings his resources and goodwill to support the party and his community—not to seek personal gain.

The Chairman of the Goke Support Forum (GSF), Hon. Lateef Adetunji, also welcomed Mr. Akinwale on behalf of the group. He pledged the unwavering support of GSF, an umbrella body comprising 17 sister groups with a significant number of politically active members and voters. He assured Mr. Akinwale of collaboration and solidarity as he begins his political journey with the APC.

While addressing party members and supporters, Mr. Akinwale expressed deep appreciation to the leaders and members of the APC in Isokan, as well as the global GSF network. He reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to the growth of the party and the welfare of the people.

"I have been involved in humanitarian work for over five years. Earlier today, we executed the 'Pad a Girl' initiative at Alapomu Palace in partnership with Olori Janet Afolabi. I also came with various items for youth empowerment as part of my commitment to community development," he stated.

While delivering his speech, Mr. Akinwale further emphasized that he has come to make a meaningful impact—both in the community and in the political space. He assured all party members of his unwavering support and humbly asked for their support in return, stressing that collective efforts are key to progress.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government and President of GSF, Hon. Goke Odetunde, thanked all party stakeholders, elders, and supporters for their dedication to his political vision. He promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him.

Hon. Odetunde also called on more indigenes of Apomu and Ikoyi to participate actively in politics, stating that increased involvement would accelerate political, infrastructural, and human capital development in Isokan.

He further hinted that several more individuals are set to join the APC and GSF in the coming days, a move he believes will further strengthen the party's base and amplify local voices at the state and national levels.

He concluded by reassuring all members, old and new, that the political environment within Isokan APC will continue to uphold the values of equity, justice, and inclusiveness.

Other dignitaries in the program include Isokan former Council Boss, Hon.Kunle Akindunbi, Hon. Ilelaboye Waheed, Hon Prince Niyi Oyebola, Hon. Toyin Ajagbe, Baba Ambaliyu, Hon Adex among others.
