Osun APC UK Chapter Drums Support for Oyebamiji's Gubernatorial Ambition*
Hon. Goke Odetunde Isokan Local Government Chairman Commends the Leadership of Osun APC Under Oyetola
The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State, has officially declared its support for Hon. Bola Oyebamiji, a frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the party.
The declaration was made yesterday, during a strategic meeting held in London, where the group hosted Hon. Adeleke Adebayo Banik who represented Hon. Bola Oyebamiji. The APC UK chapter cited Hon. Oyebamiji's exceptional leadership record and proven expertise as a financial strategist as key reasons for backing his candidacy.
Speaking at the meeting, members emphasized that Osun State is in dire need of a competent and visionary leader like Hon. Oyebamiji to rescue the state from what they described as the current economic mismanagement under Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration.
In attendance were notable party figures, including: Mayowa Olabisi, Hon. Goke Odetunde, Chairman Isokan Local Government; Hon. Kola Salami, Chairman Ede South Local Government; Mr. Wale, Chairman AKAD Foundation; Comrade Oyewumi Afeez; and several other dedicated APC members.
The group unanimously appealed to the state leadership of the APC to adopt Hon. Bola Oyebamiji as the party's standard-bearer for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State.
While addressing the gathering, Hon. Banik lauded the UK chapter for their dedication and commitment to the progressive cause. He commended their courage to stand for what they believe in and assured them that their message would be conveyed to the appropriate quarters. He further encouraged members to remain steadfast and loyal to the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Goke Odetunde expressed profound appreciation to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, as well as the Osun APC Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, for their continuous support and leadership. He also acknowledged Hon. Banik for his commitment to strengthening party unity across borders. He assured that the group is ready to join hands to unseat the incumbent governor in the next election.
