Hon. Goke Odetunde Hosts Isokan APC Stakeholders, Charges PVC Registration Committee on Efficiency.
The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, yesterday hosted the All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders and the Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) Registration Committee at the party secretariat in Apomu.
The meeting, which came shortly after his return from the United Kingdom, focused on strategies to strengthen voter registration ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial and general elections.
Hon. Odetunde tasked the PVC Registration Committee to be diligent and efficient in mobilizing residents to participate fully in the ongoing registration exercise. He emphasized that increased voter registration is critical to the political strength of Isokan Local Government and Osun State at large.
The Chairman assured the committee that he and other party leaders are ready to provide all necessary logistics support to ensure the smooth running of the exercise.
He further encouraged stakeholders to intensify grassroots sensitization, stressing that participation at the polls begins with voter registration.
In addition, Hon. Odetunde disclosed that a series of development projects is set to commence soon in Isokan Local Government. According to him, these initiatives will further improve infrastructure and the quality of life for residents.
In attendance at the meeting were the Local Party Chairman, Mr. Basiru Osunlakin, Hon. Kunle Akindunbi, and Hon. Niyi Oyebola, alongside other notable stakeholders who pledged their commitment to the success of the exercise.
