Warm Homecoming for Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji as Isokan APC Declares Support for His Governorship Ambition.

In what could best be described as a homecoming, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isokan Local Government warmly received the leading Osun APC gubernatorial aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), to Apomu, the headquarters of the local government, as part of his ongoing consultation tour across the state.

The consultation meeting, hosted by the Isokan chapter of the AMBO Support Group, witnessed a massive turnout as party members and numerous beneficiaries of Oyebamiji's philanthropic gestures trooped out in their hundreds to declare unwavering support for his ambition.

Hon. Bola Oyebamiji, an indigene of Ikire, a neighbouring town with strong historical and cultural ties to Isokan Local Government, was warmly embraced by the people of Apomu and Ikoyi, who described his aspiration as one that represents the collective dream of their shared community.

In his welcome address, Alhaji Awobode, speaking on behalf of the people of Isokan, expressed profound delight at hosting the two-term former Commissioner for Finance and current Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). He praised Oyebamiji's outstanding record of service and commitment to community development.

Also speaking at the event, the APC Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Mr Bashir Osunlakin , reaffirmed the readiness of Isokan APC members to work tirelessly toward returning the party to power in Osun State come 2026. He lauded Hon. Oyebamiji's leadership qualities, describing him as a seasoned administrator and loyal party man with the capacity to deliver good governance.

In his address, Hon. Bola Oyebamiji appreciated the overwhelming support from the people of Isokan, describing Apomu and Ikoyi as his "second home." He thanked the party faithful for their solidarity and pledged to provide purposeful and people-oriented leadership if elected as the next governor of Osun State.

Among those in Oyebamiji's entourage were the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Hon. Sunday Akere, Hon. Amidu Tadese, and Hon. Taiwo Oluga.

Prominent local leaders who joined in welcoming the aspirant included the Executive Chairman Isokan Local Government,  Hon Goke Odetunde, Hon. Akeem Oladeni Badiru (AOB), Hon. Wasiu Oyelami, and several other party stalwarts.

The event was marked by enthusiasm, chants of solidarity, and renewed optimism among party members who described Oyebamiji's visit as a symbol of unity and renewed hope for the APC family in Osun State.
