Hon. Goke Odetunde Clears Traditional Rulers' Salary Arrears, Assures Prompt Payment in Isokan LG.

The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, has graciously approved and ordered the immediate payment of all outstanding salary arrears owed to traditional rulers in the local government area.

Hon. Odetunde made this known while addressing members of his media team earlier today. He described the long delay in the payment of the arrears as a result of abuse of power by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership, which caused undue hardship to not only the  traditional institutions but the entire state.

The Council Chairman acknowledged the vital role of traditional rulers in maintaining peace, unity, and development across Isokan Local Government. He commended them for their patience, commitment, and continued cooperation with the local government administration despite the challenges they faced.

Hon. Odetunde reaffirmed his administration's commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. He pledged that under his leadership, all entitlements and statutory benefits of traditional rulers and other stakeholders would be paid promptly as and when due.

He further assured the people of Isokan that his government remains dedicated to improving welfare, strengthening traditional institutions, and promoting sustainable development in the local government area.
