The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of workers by ensuring the prompt payment of salaries to members of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) serving within the local government. The timely disbursement of salaries was warmly received by the OYES cadets, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman for his consistent dedication to their welfare and for recognizing their invaluable contributions to grassroots development.
Speaking on behalf of the cadets, the OYES leadership described Hon. Goke Odetunde as a compassionate, responsive, and people-centred leader whose administration has continued to place workers' welfare at the forefront despite prevailing economic challenges. They noted that the prompt payment of salaries has not only relieved financial pressures on the beneficiaries but has also inspired them to remain committed to efficient and dedicated service.
The cadets further commended the Chairman for his exemplary leadership and offered prayers for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success in the discharge of his responsibilities. They also prayed for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
In his remarks, Hon. Goke Odetunde appreciated the OYES cadets for their dedication, discipline, and sacrifices in the service of the local government. He assured them that his administration would continue to prioritize their welfare and create an enabling environment for them to thrive. He further disclosed that greater opportunities await OYES cadets upon the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as Governor in the August 15 gubernatorial election.
"We remain committed to putting smiles on the faces of our people through purposeful and people-oriented governance. Our administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of workers and expand opportunities for our youths," Hon. Odetunde stated.
