INDEPENDENCE DAY: GOKE ODETUNDE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE -CENTRED LEADERSHIP
The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, felicitates with the people of Isokan Local Government and Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Hon. Goke Odetunde in his independence message, reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred leadership and good governance, with the welfare and wellbeing of the people remaining at the heart of his administration. He urged Nigerians to maintain a positive mindset about the country, continue to believe in its potential, and always pray for Nigeria and its leaders for wisdom, peace and purposeful governance.
He also called for greater unity, patriotism, love and peaceful coexistence, urging citizens to look beyond differences in religion, gender, tribe, location or background. According to him, Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity and collective determination to build a better nation for present and future generations.
