A TALE OF A SAGE: THE ASPIRANT FROM THE STATE OF THE LIVING SPRING. By HON. QS. GOKE ODETUNDE.
In the land of Osun, richly blessed with heritage, culture, and resilient people, there emerged a man whose wisdom spoke louder than the noise of politics, a sage whose ambition was not driven by power but by purpose Asiwaju Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji.
I have watched him closely, not from a distance but from within the circle of leadership and service. Ambo is a man who understands that governance is not a throne to be occupied but a responsibility to be carried with humility and fear of God.
Long before the drums of the gubernatorial race began to beat, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji had already immersed himself in the struggles of our people. From the farmers in the rural communities to the artisans in our towns, from market women to our vibrant youths, he listened, he learned, and he acted where he could. His life has been a quiet testimony of service.
When Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji declared his intention to contest under the banner of the All Progressive Congress (APC), many saw just another contestant. But those of us who truly know him saw something different, a thinker, a planner, urbane, and above all, a man of integrity.
This sage does not believe in sustainable solutions. He speaks of agriculture not just as a tradition, but as an economic revolution waiting to happen. He sees education not merely as a system but as the foundation upon which the future of Osun must stand. He understands that our youths are not liabilities but the greatest assets we possess.
In meetings and consultations, his words are calm but loaded with insight. He does not rush to speak, yet when he does, clarity follows. He is the kind of leader who builds consensus, not division, who inspires confidence, not fear.
As someone privileged to serve the good people of Isokan Local Government, I, Hon. QS Goke Odetunde, have come to appreciate leadership that is people-centered, visionary, and selfless. And in this aspirant, I see a reflection of what Osun State truly needs at this critical time.
This is not just about winning an election; it is about restoring hope, rebuilding trust, and repositioning our dear state and transmogrify it for greatness. The journey ahead may not be easy, but with wisdom as his guide and the people as his strength, I am confident that this sage will lead with honor and deliver with impact.
Osun deserves a leader who acts.
And in this sage , I believe we have found one Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO .
Hon. QS Goke Odetunde
Executive Chairman, Isokan Local Government.
