APOMU PRODUCE TRADERS PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO ISOKAN LG CHAIRMAN, COMMENDS HIS EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP
Earlier today 22nd April, 2026, the Association of Produce Traders, Apomu branch recently paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Isokan local government Hon. Goke Odetunde, in recognition of his impactful leadership and dedication to the development of the community. The delegation was led by Mr. Adeboye Mutiu, the Produce Chairman of Isokan, alongside Mr. Abeeb Taiwo, the Iwo Zonal Chairman, and other notable cocoa producers.
The visit was aimed at appreciating the Chairman’s active role in office, which the producers described as exemplary and worthy of commendation. They acknowledged his commitment to good governance and his continuous efforts toward the growth and progress of the land.
Upon their arrival at the council, the delegation was warmly received by Hon. Lateef Adetunji Chief of Staff, who officially welcomed them and expressed the council’s appreciation for their visit. The Party Chairman Hon. Basiru Osunlakin also addressed the group, encouraging them to remain supportive and united, particularly by backing AMBO in the forthcoming election.
In his response, Hon. Goke Odetunde expressed gratitude to the cocoa producers for their show of solidarity and recognition. He emphasized the importance of civic responsibility, urging them to come out en masse to exercise their franchise during the election. According to him, active participation in the democratic process is essential for ensuring that the dividends of democracy are enjoyed by all.
