HON. GOKE ODETUNDE HELD A STRATEGIC MEETING WITH HIS CABINET MEMBERS, AFFIRMED HIS COMMITMENT TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISOKAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT .

The Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, alongside Isokan South LCDA  Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Oyelami, yesterday 30th April, 2026, convened a high-level strategic meeting at the Area Council Secretariat in Ikoyi. The meeting brought together key political office holders and stakeholders across both councils, reflecting a strong commitment to collaborative governance and development.

In attendance were Party Chairmen, Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers (SA), Senior Special Assistants (SSA), and Executive Assistants (EA), all of whom contributed to robust and forward-looking discussions. The central focus of the meeting was to deliberate on critical developmental priorities and major projects slated to commence in the near future across Apomu and Ikoyi.

Both chairmen emphasised the need for unity, effective planning, and timely execution to ensure that the proposed projects deliver meaningful impact to the people.

As a major outcome of the meeting, the leadership set up six men committee who are dedicated to party activities and was tasked with overseeing different aspects of the upcoming projects. These committees are expected to drive planning, coordination, and implementation, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and in line with the administration’s development agenda.

The meeting marks a significant step toward accelerated growth and strengthened collaboration between Apomu and Ikoyi, signalling a proactive approach by the leadership to deliver tangible progress at the grassroots level.
