Democracy Day: Isokan Chairman, Hon. Goke Odetunde, Reiterates Commitment to Grassroots Development and Good Governance

As Nigerians commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, the Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, has extended his warm felicitations to the people of Isokan, describing democracy as the best system of government that allows citizens and leaders to collectively determine the direction of governance, especially in a society where the welfare and aspirations of the people remain paramount.
Hon. Goke Odetunde noted that democracy gives citizens the opportunity to participate actively in governance, contribute to decision-making processes, and hold leaders accountable, thereby promoting peace, development, fairness, and social justice.
The Isokan Local Government Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering impactful projects, strengthening grassroots development, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy continue to reach every segment of the local government.
