ISOKAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, HON. GOKE ODETUNDE ADVOCATES AMBO'S CANDIDACY ON ERI MBE FM, IKIRE .
Earlier today, April 16th, 2026 , the Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, made a strong case for the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), during a guest appearance on the popular "BARALOFA FOR AMBO" programme aired on Eri Mbe 88.9 FM in Ikire.
The show, anchored by the renowned Idowu Akinremi (widely known as Ogoloro Presenter) and sponsored by Chief Kunle Adeleke, the Baralofa of Ikire Kingdom, is dedicated to showcasing the vision, track record, and exceptional leadership qualities of AMBO ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
Responding to a series of questions from the anchor, Hon. Odetunde described Bola Oyebamiji as a true democrat, a man of competence and integrity, and a leader with vast administrative experience. He emphasized that AMBO's emergence as governor would bring a Renewed Hope to bridge the gaps left by the current administration. "It is a rare privilege to have a governorship candidate from our region. We must strive hard to deliver him because an opportunity like this is uncommon," Odetunde declared.
Hon. Goke Odetunde further explained that the ongoing cash support empowerment programme across various local governments is designed to bring the dividends of democracy directly to the grassroots. He revealed that the initiative also serves as a strategic drive to rally support for the candidacy of Bola Oyebamiji and the APC as a whole.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Odetunde urged all residents of Irewole, Isokan, Ayedaade, and indeed every indigene of Osun State who has not yet registered for their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to immediately visit their respective wards, INEC offices, or designated registration centres before the final deadline. "Let’s rally behind AMBO, he is a trusted son of the soil who is capable of delivering quality leadership," he concluded.
