ISOKAN O’YES BENEFICIARIES APPRECIATE HON. GOKE ODETUNDE,COMMEND SALARY INCREASE TO #50,000


 

Beneficiaries of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme (O’YES) facilitated under the leadership of OSUN ALGON recently paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Hon. Goke Odetunde, at his country home in Yidi, Apomu, Osun State, following the receipt of their newly approved monthly stipend of ₦50,000, increased from the previous ₦12,500.

The beneficiaries stated that the visit was aimed at expressing their heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of Isokan Local Government and the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) for deeming them worthy of such remarkable support. According to them, the increment is a significant relief capable of easing the economic challenges currently being faced by many individuals across the state and the country at large.

While addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Goke Odetunde commended them for demonstrating gratitude and respect through the visit, noting that appreciation remains a noble virtue. He emphasized that “ingratitude is tantamount to robbery,” while encouraging the beneficiaries to remain diligent, dedicated, and committed to the responsibilities assigned to them under the O’YES scheme.

Hon. Goke further reassured them that his administration, alongside other local government administrations across Osun State, remains committed to sustaining the payment in the coming months, affirming that their leadership is people-oriented and focused on the welfare of the masses.

The Isokan Local Government boss also urged the beneficiaries to continue propagating the good works and vision of the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) and its gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO). He expressed confidence that AMBO’s victory in the August 15th gubernatorial election would further create more opportunities and developmental benefits for O’YES beneficiaries and the people of Osun State in general.
